This Just In: The Half-Naked City

Panic struck the national news outlets this week as television producers, magazine editors and webmasters scrambled to find excuses to cram pictures of a new Calvin Klein billboard into their respective media.

Located at the corner of Houston and Lafayette Streets in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, the billboard prominently features a sweaty and lingerie’d Eva Mendes pulling alluringly at a muscular young gentleman’s Calvin Klein ‘roos.

The preferred method of media coverage was a whipped up controversy over semi-nudity and morality that often included man-on-the-street interviews with passers-by, featuring  parents with their children when possible, in front of the offending objet d’adverte.

Whereas I whipped up a little gem of a post about dirty old media perverts.
